We apologize for the delay in packing and would like to inform you of the reasons.

As you are aware, we moved to a new warehouse in the USA in August in order to improve our service. This caused us to face two problems:

1.Since our move the installation of new communication lines and high-speed Internet connection has been in progress with unforeseen delays by the internet provider. We are using the maximum of possible alternatives for mobile communication, but the speed and capacity are still insufficient.

2.We are currently expanding the warehouse staff. There is currently a hiring crisis in the US - the payment of large unemployment benefits during a pandemic led to a significant shortage in the labor market, and therefore it takes more time and effort to find new employees.

This situation and the growing volume of incoming parcels lead to current delays - temporarily, the time for performing warehouse operations has been increased. A number of warehouse processes were optimized to be faster and more efficient.

We also had to suspend some types of special requests until the deadlines get back to normal - information is available on the special requests page in your account. The main rule for us remains the same - the reliability for your parcels. We continue to do our best to keep high quality of processing and packaging of your orders and to ship your purchases faster.

At our new warehouse in the US, communication cables are still being installed. Currently warehouse employees process parcels using mobile hotspots, which significantly slows down the work speed - because of this, the packing time has been increased to 6-8 days. Please take this into account when placing your shipment order. For your convenience, we have canceled the paid storage of incoming parcels until the usual packing time is restored. We will inform you additionally when everything gets back to order.

We are experiencing difficulties with the network connection at our new warehouse in Delaware, US. It may cause some delays with parcel processing, packing and shipping. The warehouse in the USA has moved to a new location, and the Qwintry address has changed - the current personal address is already available in your personal account. Please make sure you update it in the stores and delete the old one.

Shipping orders from the Garage Sale and Qwintry.Store will start tomorrow, the 4th of August. Special requests will be available on the 5th of August, Qwintry Flash method will be launched on the 9th of August. Please choose other available shipping methods.

From August 1, 2021, Qwintry is changing its warehouse address in the US. Here is what you need to know:

  • We will start receiving parcels at the new warehouse from August Until that time, you can place your orders at the old address;
  • From July 27 to August 3 2021, packaging of parcels and fulfilling special requests will be suspended;
  • From July 26 to August 9 2021, sending parcels by the Qwintry Flash method will not be possible;
  • All the parcels that will arrive at the old address after August 1 2021 will be forwarded to the new warehouse;
  • All the processes in the new warehouse will be automated; the warehouse is equipped with surveillance cameras, and sending your purchases through Qwintry will also be reliable and safe;
  • The Qwintry warehouse will stay in the tax-free State – you will still be able to save up while shopping in the USA.

We have updated the Qwintry app. Placing your orders, tracking your parcels, contacting the Shopping Help service and the helpdesk became even more convenient thanks to the new interface, and the application itself works faster and more stable. The application is available for download:

New types of special requests have appeared in the Qwintry account. Now you can make a request to change your name or your e-mail in your account, change the delivery method or the recipient, cancel the shipment, and much more.

We have returned the possibility to fulfill some special requests at our US warehouse. Currently, our employees keep on fulfilling the following types of special requests:

  • Measure my clothes and shoes
  • Photograph my things
  • Delete the parcel from my account; I don’t need it anymore
  • Return my parcel to the store
  • Return some of the items to the store
  • Prepare my parcel for return via courier
  • Fill out my declaration
  • Divide my parcel into several parts

Please be advised that since 3 March, 2021 changing recipient's information for packages after they left warehouses in the US and Germany will be provided on a paid basis: $3 per parcel before arrival to the customs, $5 per parcel after customs clearance.

Due to inclement weather conditions Qwintry employees are having difficulties commuting to and from work. We are experiencing significant delays in all warehouse operations because of this situation. We are currently experiencing a very high workload in the US warehouse due to the holiday season and the current pandemic situation. We are temporarily suspending some types of SR’s in order to speed up the shipping process of parcels.

We are reminding you that at the end of the year comes the high season: due to the increasing load, the delivery and packaging times are increasing accordingly. Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Cyber Monday, and Christmas sales: at the end of the year, the parcels become more numerous, and our warehouse is prepared for that. However, this year, a new factor came into play – the COVID-19 pandemic. In the USA, just as in the rest of the world, there is still a difficult epidemiological situation. Any link of the supply chain is operated by human beings, and predicting whether or not they will get sick tomorrow is impossible. If a warehouse employee is suspected for being COVID-19-positive, we suspend them from work, and have them take the test.

The same is applicable to delivery. During this year, the volume of cargo transportation has grown, and we have learned to work in the new reality. However, it is not clear yet, what kind of load will be there on the airlines and, as a consequence, on the customs this year. We are preparing for this load to be pretty intense, and, just as we do every year, we recommend ordering the delivery of the items that you need to get by a certain date, well in advance.

The end of the year is a high season for logistics companies: the load on transport, customs and courier services is increasing, hence, the delivery time is increasing as well. This year, the situation is further complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the reduction in the number of flights, so we recommend ordering your Christmas gifts as early as possible. Delays are highly likely - please keep this in mind when placing your orders.

Warehouse hours have been shortened; all the employees with suspected disease take periodic tests and, if necessary, are put into lockdown. Due to this, some of the employees are absent from the warehouse. This affects the operating speed, and, because of that, delays are possible during the packaging, fulfilling special requests, as well as at other stages. In addition, due to the pandemic, delivery terms have also been increased.

June 1, 2020

From June 1, 2020, we are returning to the usual terms of free parcel storage – the incoming parcels will be allowed to stay free of charge at the Qwintry warehouse for 45 days, after which the storage cost will be $ 0.5 per day for a parcel from the first day of paid storage. The free storage time for the outgoing (formed) parcels at the Qwintry warehouse (from the moment of issuing the invoice for the services) is seven days, after which the storage cost will be $2 a day.

All the incoming parcels, which came to the warehouse during the period from March 28 to June 1, 2020, will be stored at the warehouse free of charge for 90 days from the moment of the parcel’s arrival.

Due to the lockdown extension, we are extending the parcel storage time. All of the outgoing parcels can stay at our warehouse until May 15, 2020, without any extra storage charges or risk of their disposal.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, USPS has suspended the shipment of parcels to some countries. Please check whether shipping to your country by using this method is possible or choose other delivery methods.

For your convenience, we are extending the free storage time from 45 to 90 days for all the incoming parcels. In addition, all of the outbound parcels, which are normally stored at the warehouse for 7 days, can now stay there until May 1, 2020, without any extra storage charges or risk of their disposal.

In addition, due to the pandemic, delivery terms have also been increased.

Due to the situation connected with the spread of COVID-19, we want to assure our customers that we are closely following the development of events, and are taking serious measures to maintain as much as possible the usual level of service in these challenging conditions.

Our decisions are guided by the directions issued by the Delaware Division or Public Health, where the American Qwintry warehouse is located. Recently, the local authorities issued an order to suspend the work of companies which are not essential to the state’s economy. This order does not apply to Qwintry as a logistics operator (essential business), and our warehouse continues to operate without any changes.

Nevertheless, we took all the necessary precautions to ensure safe storage of the parcels if we are urgently requested to stop work in connection with additional instructions from the authorities. This possibility seems highly unlikely currently but we are prepared to handle such a development of events.

Like the rest of the world, we cannot say exactly how the situation will develop, but Qwintry will continue to provide services as long as there are technical conditions for that, and currently we do have the opportunity to do that, as well as keep up the quality and reliability standards expected by our customers.
